Acer buergerianum – Trident Maple is a compact, deciduous tree with a rounded form, distinctive three-lobed leaves, and reliable seasonal colour. Leaves shift from green to vivid tones of orange, red, and yellow in autumn, offering strong visual interest in structured and space-conscious landscapes.
They look excellent in courtyards, along narrow streets, or as feature trees in compact gardens where scale, shape, and autumn tone are important. The bark becomes exfoliating with age, providing subtle winter texture and year-round presence.
