Large Trees
Large trees are a long-term decision and need to be sited with their mature size in mind, not the size that arrives on the truck. Most here exceed fifteen metres and several exceed thirty.
Oaks, planes, elms and the larger eucalypts suit parkland, rural driveways and civic landscapes. They are not suited to suburban blocks, where root systems and canopy spread will eventually cause problems with paving, drains and boundaries.
Allow a minimum of fifteen to twenty metres clear of buildings and services. Freight and installation for advanced stock in this range is quoted individually, and machinery access needs to be confirmed before delivery.
