Cedrela sinensis (Chinese Cedar) is a fast-growing, deciduous tree with a broad umbrella-shaped canopy and fine compound foliage that emerges bright green and turns golden-yellow in autumn. Its upright structure and well-spaced branching provide a light, elegant silhouette, perfect for large gardens, parks, and streetscapes.
They look excellent as a shade tree and architectural feature, delivering refined seasonal colour and low-maintenance resilience. Cedrela sinensis adapts well to urban environments and tolerates moderate drought and frost once established, thriving in full sun to part shade.
