Pink is the easiest flower colour to place in an Australian garden, sitting comfortably against both rendered modern facades and traditional brick.

For spring, flowering plums and cherries carry the heaviest blossom on bare wood. Through summer, crepe myrtles hold pink for six to ten weeks. In winter, Eucalyptus leucoxylon 'Rosea' and 'Euky Dwarf' flower when the garden most needs it.

Tones vary more than photographs suggest. 'Lipan' is a soft lavender-pink, 'Sioux' and 'Tuscarora' are considerably stronger, and 'Tonto' is close to fuchsia. Ask us if matching an existing planting matters.
