About Aloe hybrida ‘Venus’ – Venus Aloe
Aloe hybrida ‘Venus’, commonly known as Venus Aloe, is a compact evergreen succulent prized for its attractive blue-green foliage and vibrant flowering display. Dense clumping rosettes provide year-round structure, while colourful flower spikes rise above the foliage during the cooler months, delivering reliable seasonal colour and garden interest.
It performs best in full sun to light shade and free-draining soils, adapting well to coastal conditions, dry climates, and low-maintenance landscapes. Once established, Venus Aloe develops excellent drought tolerance and requires very little ongoing care, making it ideal for contemporary gardens, waterwise landscapes, and container displays.
They look excellent when used for mass planting, borders, rockeries, courtyard gardens, coastal landscapes, and decorative containers where colourful flowering and evergreen architectural form are desired. The nectar-rich flowers attract birds and pollinators, adding valuable wildlife interest to the garden.
