PLANT PROFILE
Choisya ternata, commonly called Mexican Orange Blossom, is an evergreen shrub that fills gardens with aromatic charm. Its glossy, dark green foliage complements fragrant, pure white, star-shaped flowers that bloom in late spring, sometimes returning in autumn.
Growing to 1.5–2.5 metres tall and wide with a dense, rounded form, it works well for hedging, borders, and containers. Thriving in full sun to partial shade, Choisya ternata offers moderate drought tolerance and withstands light frost, requiring only low to moderate maintenance. They look excellent when planted as aromatic hedges or as standout shrubs in structured garden designs.
