Magnolia Grandiflora 'Supergem'

Magnolia grandiflora 'Supergem' is a compact and elegant Southern Magnolia cultivar, prized for its smaller size and lush, dark green foliage with velvety bronze undersides. Growing 6–8 meters tall and 3–4 meters wide, it fits well in landscapes where space is limited but impact is desired.

This evergreen tree produces large, fragrant creamy-white flowers, 20–25 cm across, from late spring through early summer, sometimes blooming sporadically throughout the season. It features a pyramidal to rounded crown with dense branching, making it ideal as a specimen tree or privacy screen.

'Supergem' thrives in well-drained, acidic soils, tolerates urban pollution, and is moderately drought-tolerant once established. Preferring full sun to partial shade, it requires minimal pruning after flowering to maintain shape.
