About Magnolia grandiflora ‘Sweet Carolina’ – Sweet Carolina Magnolia

Selected for improved branching density and a narrower more controlled form than traditional Southern Magnolias, this variety provides strong year-round structure with reduced maintenance requirements in residential and commercial landscapes.
It performs best in full sun to partial shade and fertile well-drained soils, adapting well to humidity, urban conditions, and coastal environments once established. The glossy dark green foliage with copper-brown undersides creates strong visual contrast throughout the year.
They look excellent when used for screening, avenue planting, feature planting, and formal landscape applications where evergreen structure and large fragrant blooms are desired.
