Reaching a mature height of 3–4 meters and spreading 1.5–2 meters wide, Castlewellan Gold thrives in full sun to partial shade and tolerates frost and urban pollution, making it well-suited to a variety of environments. With moderate drought tolerance and low maintenance needs, this evergreen conifer requires only occasional pruning when shaped as a hedge and regular watering during dry periods.
