About Your New Crassula ‘Max Cook’ – Max Cook Jade Plant

Crassula ‘Max Cook’ is a compact evergreen succulent valued for its thick architectural foliage and dense sculptural growth habit. The fleshy grey-green leaves form a structured low-maintenance display, making it highly suited to modern container planting, drought-tolerant gardens, and contemporary succulent landscapes.

It performs best in full sun to bright filtered light and sharply drained soils, including sandy and gravelly profiles. Suited to coastal, Mediterranean, arid, and warm temperate climates, it develops strong drought tolerance once established and requires very little maintenance to maintain its clean compact form.

They look excellent when used for succulent gardens, rockeries, decorative pots, and architectural dry-climate planting where strong foliage contrast and low water use are required. This variety is commonly specified for contemporary courtyards, xeriscaping, and low-maintenance feature planting.
