PLANT PROFILE
Cercis chinensis, commonly called Chinese Redbud, is an ornamental tree valued for its radiant pink pea-like flowers in spring and attractive heart-shaped green leaves. They look excellent as a compact specimen or border tree, adding seasonal charm to gardens.
This deciduous tree thrives in full sun to partial shade, tolerates diverse soils and urban conditions, and requires low maintenance with moderate watering. It offers moderate drought hardiness and reliable beauty year-round.
