Evergreen Trees Direct Supplies Trees for Award-Winning Alphington Display Suite

Creating a welcoming landscape for the Yarra Bend development

Evergreen Trees Direct was approached by Glenvill Homes to supply trees for the new Alphington Display Suite in the vibrant Yarra Bend development in Alphington, Melbourne. The goal was a welcoming entry that reflected the surrounding landscape along the Yarra River.

Native planting for a river-inspired design

To achieve this garden, native trees and shrubs were essential to capture the feeling of walking along the Yarra River. Evergreen Trees Direct supplied the right trees to bring the vision to life.

A garden reflecting its natural surrounds

To complement the native trees and shrubs, other materials accentuated the natural setting, including rough-cut porphyry stone from Eco Outdoor and a water feature using recycled rainwater from the display suite. Mirrored walls were placed throughout the garden to reflect the planting, making visitors feel as though they were wandering through an ever-expansive garden hidden amongst the bustle of the city.

Inaugural winner at The Design Files Awards

The finished garden was a great success and was named the inaugural winner at The Design Files Awards night. The use of native trees alongside considered materials created a landscape that truly captured the essence of the Yarra River and its surroundings.
