About Acacia iteaphylla
Acacia iteaphylla, or Flinders Range Wattle, is a hardy, fast-growing Australian native shrub with soft, narrow grey-green foliage and a naturally arching form. Flowering from late winter to spring, it produces masses of pale yellow, ball-shaped blooms that attract birds and pollinators.
Reaching 2–4 metres tall and 2–3 metres wide, it’s ideal for screening, low hedging, or native garden borders. It performs best in full sun with well-drained soil and is both drought and frost tolerant once established.
They look excellent when used along fence lines, planted in a row as an informal screen, or softened into dry slopes and native-style garden beds. Reliable and low maintenance, it's a great choice for tough spots needing coverage, colour, and texture.
