About Your New Protea 'Pink Ice'
Protea ‘Pink Ice’ is a hardy, evergreen shrub known for its large, long-lasting pink blooms and striking silvery foliage. A hybrid between Protea compacta and Protea neriifolia, this variety is prized for its reliability, floral impact, and performance in a wide range of garden conditions.
Flowering from autumn through spring, the showy blooms are ideal for cut flowers and floral arrangements. The plant forms a dense, upright habit and is well suited for feature planting, coastal gardens, or use as a low screen. It prefers full sun, well-drained, slightly acidic soil, and benefits from low phosphorus fertiliser. Drought and frost tolerant once established.
