Ivory Lite Trough - Indoor

It is made from Poly Fibre Stone, a blend of poly resin, stone powder, stone chips and fibre matt. The fine stone chips give the ivory semolina terrazzo finish. There is no cement of any type in the product, which is why the trough is so light for its size.

Three sizes are made: L100 x W45 x H45cm, L80 x W40 x H40cm and L60 x W30 x H30cm. The two larger sizes suit a run of screening planting or a low divider, while the L60 size works on a bench, a sideboard or a narrow balcony ledge.

No. It is supplied without drainage holes so it can go straight into an interior setting without risk to floors. Plants can sit in their nursery pots inside it, which also makes swapping displays easy. If you want to plant directly and use it outdoors, one or two holes can be drilled in the base.

Yes. The range was made with interior plantscapers, florists and decorators in mind, for work where planting is moved in and out of sites regularly. The trough is light to shift, the terrazzo finish resists scuffs and scratches, and the ivory tone sits quietly against most commercial interiors.

It can. The material contains no cement and is extremely light, which makes it well suited to balcony gardens and rooftops where weight is a real constraint. Drill drainage holes before planting directly, and in exposed positions add weight low in the trough so wind cannot move it.

Anything you want in a line. Indoors, sansevieria, dracaena, philodendron, ferns or a run of peace lilies. Outdoors, a clipped buxus or westringia hedge, dwarf lomandra, or herbs on a kitchen terrace. Trailing plants along the front edge soften the straight sides if the look is too severe.

Clean it with mild soapy water and a soft bristle brush or a rag, then wipe it dry. Keep harsh chemicals and abrasives away from the terrazzo. The finish is scuff and scratch resistant, so day to day marks lift easily. Finishes may vary slightly from the trough shown in the photograph.
