Ficus Hillii - SALE - LATE MAY/ EARLY JUNE DISPATCH

About Your New Ficus Hillii - SALE - LATE MAY/ EARLY JUNE DISPATCH

Ficus microcarpa var. hillii, Hill's Weeping Fig, is a fast-growing low-maintenance evergreen ideal for hedging, screening, pleaching, and feature planting. It has a denser, more pendulous form than Ficus hillii 'Flash', giving a softer, more cascading appearance.

Ficus Hillii grows to 8-15 metres in landscape settings but is most commonly kept clipped between 2 and 6 metres as a hedge. The lime-green, glossy, tightly packed foliage makes it highly effective for privacy and noise reduction. It can be clipped to a clean uniform height or left unpruned for a natural flowing canopy, and is widely used for tall hedges, topiary standards, and pleached rows.

Ficus Hillii thrives in full sun to part shade and adapts to most well-drained soils, performing reliably across coastal to inland Australian climates. It is resistant to most pests and diseases once established. Like all figs it has vigorous roots, so plant well clear of pipes and paving, or use large above-ground planters.
