Acmena smithii 'Forest Flame' – Forest Flame Lilly Pilly is a dense, upright evergreen shrub with vibrant reddish-pink new growth that matures to deep glossy green. Its compact form (4–5m H × 2–3m W) delivers strong visual contrast and year-round structure in both formal and informal landscapes.
They look excellent in hedging rows, screen plantings, or as standalone features where foliage colour and density are priorities. White summer flowers are followed by red berries that attract native birds, adding subtle seasonal interest.
Psyllid-resistant, drought-tolerant, and low maintenance, it performs reliably in a range of soil types and light conditions—ideal for modern gardens and functional boundaries.
