Hakea bucculenta, commonly known as Red Pokers, is a striking Australian native shrub known for its spectacular bright red to orange cylindrical flower spikes. Flowering mainly in winter and spring, it provides a bold splash of colour and attracts birds, bees, and pollinators to the garden.

This large, upright shrub features narrow, grey-green leaves and forms a dense screen, making it ideal for use as an informal hedge, feature plant, or windbreak.
