PLANT PROFILE
The Acer × freemanii ‘Jeffersred’ – Autumn Blaze Maple is a fast-growing deciduous hybrid (12–20m H × 9–12m W) with a strong central leader, upright form, and vivid red-orange autumn foliage. It looks excellent in avenue plantings, large gardens, or open civic spaces where reliable seasonal colour and structure are key.
A cross between Red Maple and Silver Maple, Autumn Blaze Maple combines the strong branching of Acer rubrumwith the vigour of Acer saccharinum. Uniform canopy, consistent colour even in warmer zones, and fast establishment make it a preferred choice for streetscapes, residential developments, and shade planting.
