Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Frisia’ – Golden Robinia Tree

Size: 300L
Sale price$1,400.00

Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Frisia’ (Golden Robinia) looks excellent as a vibrant feature tree in suburban gardens, parks, streetscapes, and civic landscapes. Its bright golden-yellow foliage creates eye-catching seasonal contrast, especially when planted alongside darker green trees or shrubs, enhancing overall landscape depth and colour.

The tree’s upright form with an open, rounded canopy offers dappled shade, making it perfect for creating light-filled outdoor spaces. It performs well in various soils and tolerates moderate drought once established, adding resilience to diverse settings.

For added visual impact, ‘Frisia’ can be underplanted with shade-tolerant perennials or groundcovers that thrive in filtered sunlight, creating layered planting schemes that enrich biodiversity and texture. Its low maintenance and moderate growth rate make it a practical, stunning choice for both formal and informal landscapes.
