Eucalyptus polyanthemos, commonly known as Red Box, is a resilient and striking Australian native tree celebrated for its dense canopy, textured fibrous bark, and unique blue-grey foliage. Growing 10–15 metres tall and spreading 6–10 metres wide, this medium-sized evergreen tree brings both structure and soothing colour to a wide range of landscapes—from native habitat gardens to contemporary rural settings.
Its standout feature is the foliage, with soft, rounded juvenile leaves giving way to elliptical, silver-blue adult leaves that contrast beautifully with natural elements like stone or timber.
