Cercis ‘Forest Pansy’ is a deciduous feature tree known for its rich burgundy, heart-shaped foliage that changes through warm tones in autumn. When backlit by the sun, the leaves take on a soft, glowing quality — adding depth and contrast to planting schemes.
It has a branching, multi-stemmed form that gives shape and structure even when leafless in winter. Works well as a focal point in gardens where space allows, especially in courtyards, lawn areas or layered garden beds.
Grows best in full sun to part shade, in well-drained soil. Suitable for both residential and commercial landscapes where colour variation, seasonal interest, and natural form are needed without the need for heavy maintenance.
